Hollywood “Destiny” for GMD student

GMD alumni works in Hollywood on “Destiny”

Simon Clowes graduated from GMD almost 10 years ago and has made a huge name for himself in Hollywood working closely with Kyle Cooper at Prologue.

“It was a pleasure to collaborate with Ilya Abulkhanov to co-direct the opening cinematic to “Destiny” – the new video game franchise from video game developers “Bungie”. Being new territory to Prologue in terms of complexity, this project pushed and stretched the entire team both technically and creatively. Being a full CG sequence, it was important for there to exist a close and transparent collaborative process between all departments from storyboard to FX, all the way to compositing. The culmination of efforts from every individual of the team ensured the creative vision and story was maintained throughout the process.”
