DPS Publication shortlisted for Award
The Design School DPS publication has been shortlisted for the Antalis Creative Review Awards in the recycled category. This is a creative award for best design on recycled material. The winners will be announced on Thursday 29th September at the Village Underground in Shoreditch. The publication was conceived, researched and written by Sarah Temple, designed by DPS alumnus Alex Hunting and printed by Park Communications on Cyclus.
This new Publication has been published at the LCC and features 30 alumni of the Design School exploring the exciting careers they have experienced since leaving the London College of Communication.
It includes Jeremy Leslie of Magculture, John Glasgow founder of Vault49 in NYC, Shaz Madani, shortlisted for Design Museum Designer of the year in 2015 for Riposte Magazine, Food for Good, James Medcraft, Director responsible for Coldplay: A Sky Full of Stars, Illustrator Chrissie Abbott and Kuchar Swara, publisher and art director of Port magazine. It also features Astrid Astavro, Phillipe Apeloig, Jonathan Ellery and LCC alumni Eddie Opara, Simon Clowes, Fernando Gutierrez, Nick Bell and Erik Spiekermann who discuss their long term relationships with LCC. The publication also features FHK Henrion who initiated the DPS four year course in 1970’s when he was head of the Design Faculty.
