Connected by Design: R/GA
Students Tom Medlicott, Justyna Bierylo, Ishbel Amyatt-Leir, Matthew Cooke and Bingxin Feng presented a challenging way to connect international offices.
In February, second year DPS students presented Connected by Design to a team of creatives from R/GA at their offices in Hoxton, with the aim of honing their conceptual and presentation skills. In creative teams, students demonstrated how to connect people and spaces across the vast international creative organisation in many innovative ways. One team dressed up as a tribute to the founder of the company, Bob Greenberg, another team inflated into giant lottery balls!
Students Nicole Jesse, Ziting Hong, Calum Petner, Koar Tsinarian and Zoe Landwehr presented the most memorable performative concept of the day.
R/GA have recently opened a state of the art London office designed by Norman Foster. With innovations in digital tools, lighting, furniture and infrastructure, how can they make the office a better place for people to work and collaborate? https://www.rga.com/about/workplace
In the brief to the students they celebrated the fact that the connected age is here, and with it, more challenges and opportunities for what is possible. Their company history is steeped in design, technology and creativity, but they never stop looking ahead – R/GA sees itself as ‘the company for the connected age’.
